Sure some top geared players can accelerate there progression through the use of plat but most faced the same trials that I and many older players have gone through. The difference between individuals with pretty decent gear, such as myself, compared to one with mid-tier gear, such as OP (no offense meant) is work ethic. Stop worrying about what others have, simply focus on you and you will see yourself rise.
