Finish 20 chest event quest (specifically, you must finish all quests up to and including the 20 chest quest)
Equip crypt pet or ghost of crypt pet and enter event map, then go to the chest in the map and enter secret area (by opening the chest)
Arachne is a guaranteed drop, 1 time per character, enjoy
Double boss elix works as well
