Equip crypt pet or ghost of crypt pet and enter event map, then go to the chest in the map and enter secret area (by opening the chest)

Arachne is a guaranteed drop, 1 time per character, enjoy

That portal can only be accessed once during the entire event or per day, they do not specify how it could be done.

If your issue is that the next boss is immediately aggroing you after killing the previous boss, then you should try pulling the boss down before killing it and hiding behind the wall next to the entrance of the boss spawn so the next boss doesn't aggro you immediately. You can simply wait for all your procs this way. I've been able to kill the boss on diff class alts with no gears using this strat. Low levels seems to be very challenging so this only applies to higher level characters that aren't as geared

I was able to use this exact strategy after posting with staggos shielding and krak bow. People with blood and beasts sets probably just whizzed through this map.

Thank you for posting this to give everyone an opportunity to take advantage of. The secret content is cool I hope they do it more in future events, not all of them of course but at random.

Try to move around every time a boss appears and don't stay still. You don't have time to kill it.
