Here's my favourite song, put it at 39:45, and that's where it starts.

Movies? I still love the Hans Zimmer soundtrack he made for The Dark Knight and TDKR. Which is odd because I normally hate movie soundtracks. I've heard the movie soundtrack for inception was pretty great too, haven't heard it though. But I'm not sure if that's exactly what you're thinking.

    Marconi Union - Weightless

Hi I just pasted some text from another website....tell me if its against forum rule...but must listen the song.

    "While listening, your heart rate
    gradually comes to match that
beat. It is important that the
    song is eight minutes long
    because it takes about five
    minutes for this process, known
    as entrainment, to occur. The
fall in heart rate also leads to a
    fall in blood pressure.
The harmonic intervals - or gaps
    between notes - have been
chosen to create a feeling of
    euphoria and comfort. And there
    is no repeating melody, which
    allows your brain to completely
switch off because you are no
longer trying to predict what is
    coming next.
    Instead, there are random
chimes, which helps to induce a
    deeper sense of relaxation. The
    final element is the low,
    whooshing sounds and hums
    that are like buddhist chants.
    High tones stimulate but these
low tones put you in a trance-
    like state."

    Video Games:
Halo 3 (perhaps one of the greatest game soundtracks)
The Impossible Game (If you're into that stuff)
Modern Warfare 2 has some good songs such as Boneyard, but it isn't the best soundtrack as a whole

    Movies:
    Star Wars
Inception (Hans Zimmer is always good)
    The Dark Knights Series

From Halo 3 I suggest Never Forget, Behold a Pale Horse (I think that's the one), Finish the Fight, and for horror, Dread Intrusion. Some people say that the Halo 4 soundtrack is good, but here are the songs I liked from it. Awakening, Belly of the Beast, Ascendancy, To Galaxy, 117, and Arrival. Another popular choice is Green and Blue.

Indie movies always have really good soundtracks of underground indie artists, if you're into that genre.
Inception is really good, also you should check out M83, if you don't know who they are.

How Hans Zimmer's work was not nominated for an Oscar is something I'll never understand. At least he walked away with a Grammy (IIRC)

The soundtracks to the Command and Conquer game series are generally pretty good. The C&C 3 mod The Forgotten has some pretty good music too. And I really like the soundtrack from Black Mesa, and that soundtrack is free.
