gear advice please

ok so iam closing in on 30 currently lvl 23 almost 24. at what point should i start trying to get better gear? i currently have eagle bow of somthing lvl 27 purple. at about 30 should i start looking and not just get what drops? and what gear should i be looking out for to try and pick up?

My main is not an archer so I can only provide general gear advice. What I've found is that you need to find gear that has H/S and M/S stats that will help you regen mana and health. Mana I would consider as the critical stat since you want to ensure that you can continuously spam your skills for maximum damage. The nice thing is that you are reaching a level (30) where some of that gear comes into play. The tiers of levels that I've found with good gear drops are Level 30, 35 & 45. Although there are level 40-41 sets of gear, I've found that if you have strong gear from level 35 if carries you through to level 45. Also check out what's available from the following links:

Also, look at your main damage dealer. I've read that a crossbow would be the best for your level as its hard hitting. Additionally, as you get towards level 45, I've read that it's a blaster. Also build up your gold base. It's far easier to buy the gear you need than to rely on drops while you are leveling (up to level 45 gear).

Pinks should be more available lvl 30+

shivering comes in level 30 and the best kind of level 30 pinks. they are around 10-20k and drop in the elite dungeon, frozen nightmares.
