I am guessing this is why they did that secret buff for last update. So I would expect that the damage for the mythic gun will still be very good. We'll have to see how good.

Correct - we had to make sure the power levels were more in alignment. The Sorcerer in particular since the arcane is level 36 and the new mythic staff is also level 36.

The arcane hooks are now in their 3rd season of being Arcane, and they will begin to fall off by comparison.
