That's part of the game. Eventually, this shield will lose its value it once had in the eyes of PL players. The thing that makes an exclusive item wanted is its exclusivity. If everybody has it, give it a week or two and nobody will care anymore.

Your vanity cap items & founders items are the only items that one should consider exclusive. IMO, anything else, except community shield, is fair game.
