Q - When will expansion come?
Answer -
Tomorrow, Tuesday, we have a company playtest scheduled. Everyone here at Spacetime will pile into the expansion and play together. Hopefully everyone will go "Awesome!" and it will go live on Wednesday. Of course, anything that I mentioned (and some that I didn't) could give us cause to hold the release to address an issue. That might mean Thursday instead. We never like to go live on a Friday, since we know from past experience that there will be something we didn't uncover through our internal testing that will need to be addressed. It is best to have that happen when the team is in the office and can react quickly. If something really big comes up, it may slide into next week. At this point, I'd give sliding into next week a pretty low chance, but it's worth mentioning.
Sad part:
Does this mean ALL elite zones, including current elite zones will not be available to play?
That is correct, no elite zones will be accessable. The button on the map to access elites will be replaced with a button that says coming soon.
We know that people will be bummed by the elites not being there. We totally understand the desire to slam straight to that content and chase the best that the expansion has to offer. We felt that putting some breathing room between leveling up to 40 (or 41) and the elites was a good thing for the game.

And no elite zones? Well we probably need to study those normal boss in depth before diving into elite map...

I'd like to say a huge thank you to all our members for making such a great expansion day. It's the first expansion ever that was stress free for everyone in the guild. We couldn't have asked for a better group.

Same here. Most stressful day about. No stable party. Have to find random pugs and brief every single one where to wait and attack. Luckily I got peace running along most of the time.

Well we had the minor problem of having almost all warrriors online half the day. I will be speaking to the recruitment team about finding more DPS for you boys to run with. We're not perfect, but we've come a hell of a long way.
