Yep. I guess they didn't want to animate the first crew getting slaughtered. Good thing is there are no major plot holes in the anime.. yet.

Yeah the first crew was slaughtered badly. It was a chapter 0 right? That's probably one of the reasons it wasn't put in the animes (that's my guess)
However I like its plot but I'm sort of lost in the latest (chapter) ill just re-read it lol.

btw ive read somewhere that there wont be a new sekirei bcs its too long ago they aired it , if i can remember it good, but who knows? Worlds full of suprises! ;D
