Is abadon worth it for mage?

Well I have an abadon egg not sure to sell or open...so is he worth it and why?

I think he's coming from a PvE aspect. I would sell Abaddon, buy Shadowlurk (lurk and slag are good pets to have), and save the rest.

Abbadon has great Armor Debuff 15% at lvl 41 and large AOE..
Also has Fast kill speed equal to Grimm...
Its armor buff lowers incoming damage..
Compared to Slag it doesn't stun..
Yeah Slag is good in boss fight.. can stun boss..

At least must have 1, thats help at elite too for mage's armor.
Other example, rogue can be helped by the dodge, war as tank it self, mage with shield only can't do better than increase the armor too ^^

Its aa does an aoe attack but... when using slag you also have aoe stun. Overall the armor is worthless in pvp (especially when you have gale speced) and you will notice. Slag has speed as well so that isn't a factor at all. If your seriously giving up panis chance for 3% more dmg well then i dont know what to say. If you open it you will resort to your slag first in almost all cases. Again slag is better and you have slag so no need to open it. If your thinking twink open, otherwise slag.

If you want an opinion if you didn't have slag in the picture open. But since slag is in the picture slag.

Abaddon's 15% doesn't stack with rogue Shadow Veil and he lacks any crowd control. So in PvE and PvP situations he's less then ideal. Sell Abaddon and use the proceeds toward buying an arcane pet like Samael or Singe. He's only useful for running tombs like KM3 or WT4.

Abaddon is not useful for mages, I also sold my eggs and bought slag. the right decision with this stun effect. Great for Paracelsus...

I have both slag and abaddon. I use abaddon for mobs and slag for boss. I noticed i can clear the mobs faster using abaddon, not to mention less pots i use because of its bonus armor. So i think its worthed opening abaddon for a mage.
