I dont understand, the vendor says: need 1 ingot and 2 ore for recipe. Then you got a recipe, has anyone got it yet for a screenshot? If i loot some crystal gear and i wana upgrade to imbued gem gear, then what else do i need beside recipe? Another ingot? 20 vial? arcane fossil or shard?
The cost of ingots needs to be reduced to 25-30 fragments. The helm should be 25 and armor 35. The elite planar chest drop rate needs to be increased exponentially and should also give
3 item's as opposed to the 1 STS have somehow decided is fair these days.
It will be the best set ingame but atm its ridiculously difficult to obtain even without the dc issues factored in. As is already stated it's legendary and should be nowhere near this hard to get. The only thing this questline is doing is angering and alienating the entire player base.
Please take note for once STS. We appreciate you wanted to try out a more difficult format and didn't want to put everything in crates (I bet you did but feared the usual p2p rage threads) however this is over the top of the top and needs to be re assessed.
Difficult, we can live with that.
Mind numbingly boring tedious over powerful hardcore tasks requiring months of elite farming in insane difficulty maps no thanks.
Zeus can you tell us please what have you dropped in other planar chests? I mean how many other legendary items and how many epics and if you have looted a shade egg

If you are unfortunately popping anything when sts has switched to the medium and low times, you are guaranteed to loot cheap, cheaper and cheapest items.
The loot tables are rotated to the whims and fancies of the STS devs who throttle the inflow of arcanes, mythics and legendaries. Also dont forget that they forget to include loot in tables.

Ok, let me get this straight.
On top of the 160 fragments I need for ingot+recipe, I also need an "unimbued" version of the item I want? LOL.
A simple calculation, based on the numbers Zeus, Jexetta and others have provided here:
1. Chest drop rate: 1% (2 out of 258; if we include Dogo's 0 out of 52, it gets even worse)
2. Pink item from chest rate: 5% (1 helm out of 20 chests)
3. Odds of getting the item you actually want: 4% (1 out of 24 -> 8 pieces x 3 classes)
Can you do the math from here or should I tell you how many runs you actually need? A hint - it's in the thousands.

Yeah after farming all the ingots and buying the recipes you have to loot the other part out of those planar chests which (1) never drop and (2) only have ONE item inside and very very rarely the crafting component that you need.
All of this for sets that aren't better than mythics?

Yes, and another similarly named set of Planar gears is deemed as still crap after all this time. I don't get why they have go be exclusive to Planar Tombs Chests. They have to be in Planar Arena Master Chests as well for goodness' sake! The fossil drop is a joke, might as well put something useful in there.

Sorry guys, but I like that they made this super hard. It will actually add some PvE fun to this game instead of the usual 1-2 weeks of new PvE and then back to PvP. I like that we actually have something to do in PvE that will take months (yes months, not days!). I just wish they would fix the server issues so I could actually run the planar tombs and participate in this wonderful quest for better gear.
And BTW, you don't have to loot the exact item you want. These items are tradable, so you can loot a different one and sell it, or just buy the one you want with from another player. Did anyone here play Pocket Legends? This armor/helm crafting is so similar to how it was in PL. You first had to loot the legendary item, and then you had to work hard to get the crafting materials and the recipe, and then you could craft the upgraded set.
Good work STS. Please do not change a thing (except to get your servers fixed!)

I agree with you there, I think it's a bit too soon for people to start calling foul, but I also agree with Candy.
The tombs are quite expensive to run, and the fact that there are sooo many pieces to crafting this armor is pretty daunting.
300 Planar Fragments in all
80k in Planar Ingots
Plus you have to either loot or buy the base armor which could set you back pretty deep depending on the set you want -- and that's all on top of the endless supply of ankhs, pots, and elixirs that one needs to even get that far.
I'm all for difficult and lengthy quests for the hardcore end gamer, but damn, the time and gold/plat needed to complete this quest line is just a snowballs chance in my eyes, never mind the mythic necklace.

Energizer, I love your fresh optimism, but we crunched the math for you above - optimism will only get you so far and I also know how many hours a day you used to play back in Judgement. I can tell you that in order to complete this quest with the above loot percentages, it will take you about 2 hours per day / 1,000 hours or 500 days (I'm pretty sure there will be better armor by that time). You can support the quest as it stands as much as you want, but as soon as the exact details filter out to the community about every single item you need, the amount of items dispersing through the community from doing runs is going to drop.
Oh and this.
