Lvl 51 mega mage supa expensive stuff

for me the lvl 51 are just collectors items... no point to spent money on it... better save for lvl 55 ones...

I thought the devs had said there wouldn't be new gear with the cap level raise.....new stuff was gonna be through crafting mostly....or maybe I missed something.

They never said that. People would blow a gasket if there were no new lootable equipment. Especially since the rings and recipes seem to be plat items...

Couldn't you buy the lv 51 gear and then just upgrade it? I'm thinking that the bosses won't drop any higher gear since that would just defeat the purpose of crafting for it.

Just checked the lvl55 bow you can craft: requires the loot-able pink ( lvl 55? Idk but It's the same name as the pink lvl51)
A gem base (and a gem on it I assume)
And few more common ingredients.

So yes some stuff you have to drop first and then you'll definitely craft our own gear.

Still wondering if there'll be any soulbound item, though

All Lv 55 gear is only craftable. By soul bound you mean untradable?

I've seen level 51, 52, 53, 54, and 55 versions of the same items. You just have to level up to get them to drop as higher level. The level 55 crafted items will just upgrade your existing items, so they are better than the level 55 drops.
