We have not figured out how we will distribute the additional prizes, but expect to see more player-specific prizes.

On top of that, 15 players (5 of each class) will be selected at random to receive 500k!

If I am correct, the rules mean that having the screenshot which displays only the loot in the chat box but not the boss body, would still count as an entry? So if the boss' body disappears while the player is busy opening the chat window and typing out the catchphrase his entry will still be valid?

Correct, either visible loot with boss or boss loot in chat box.

But, don't forget the weekly catch phrase. If no one says the phrase, the SS won't count!

Guys please have your guild practice taking SS and posting them to your guild threads. When the contest starts it's lock and load, and <Enigmatic> will be running hard. From experience I have seen guildies day 1 of contest realize they don't know how to post SS so pass the word this is the week to figure it out.

Legit prizes, PvE is where it's at. Kali rocks for organizing this, it has been taken up a notch by some generous gold contributions and team work across many of the guilds here. I expect a really great month and look forward to this event!

I asked for a banner or a new, custom vanity, but they told me that they are busy working on the next update and can't spare the design time for something like that right now.

Many guilds have kicked in some gold and prizes for Arlor, it's nice to see the PvE family bonding together to have this contest happen for Feb. <Enigmatic> is already planning our strategy to maximize guild points and will be hitting the maps of Arlor when the contest is live. Thank you again to everyone with the positive feedback and to the countless hours put in by Kali and the behind-the-scenes planners you know you you are.

If you are someone that is in a solo or smaller guild and is interesting in participating but maybe not sure if you can find a party for the contest, please send me a FR in the game on Candykissed. I will be working to assist you in finding other people to run with for the contest and can gladly lend you a hand. Thanks again and PLEASE PRACTICE posting a screen shot before the contest launches.

That's a good point Candy.

I have received a lot of PMs from players in solo guilds (guild of the player and their alts).

Remember, while there are guild prizes, there are also A LOT of player prizes, so just run as much as you can.

The point here is to encourage players to reach out to other plays, even in other guilds, and just get in some runs. This is typically a slow time in game, so this is designed to get the excitement going again.

Run with friends, run with guildies, run in PUGs.

If you have a hard time finding parties, there will be a few hangout locations where you can get a PUG in.

Most likely some of the less busy taverns (like the one in Kraag) or slow towns like Kelys will probably get a good spot to find a group.

If not, perhaps someone can start a thread for players willing to PUG.

Even in relatively active guild like mine there are down time when it's hard to get party for elite. If these lone runners could pm me and explain that they need running mates, I'd be only too glad to group them with my guildies in their runs.

So basically I can just pick up a stranger in town level 40-41 which are the requirement right to just run 5 maps in brackenridge and 5 yrda forest with me and i'll take the screen shot to claim 110 points for my guild right? plus my 110 points, so that's 220? and if it was a tank, it would be 230 in total? correct?
