as for elite timer, i still suggest players should be able to choose timer runs or non-timer runs, for various reason (especially dc, it can always happens whatever the cause is)
as for the problem why rogue is preferred over other classes (in most end-game maps):
1. remove max target limit on mage, until now, realized or not, even though warriors can pull lot's of enemies, run effectiveness doesn't actually or significantly improves because target limit, with this the remove limitation, combination of mage and warrior will be preferred
2. remove stun immunity, especially on mobs. rogue's specialty is damage, while mage's is creep control, while damage can always be stacked between rogues (more rogues more damage), but not with mage's stun or cc (except clock), more fireballs doesn't make mobs stunned longer, because of the stun immunity. so remove stun immunity, and to avoid getting overpowered, reducing the disable duration also won't be much problem (as far as i know it is already low enough, probably only 0.5-1.5 seconds for fireballs in elite mobs T_T while the stun immunity is around 4-5s)
3. add/improve buffs/debuffs unique for each class, that can be stacked properly between classes. simply to encourage class combination.
4. add minibosses, special enemies, or stronger enemies that need to be killed to spawn bosses. simply to discourage parking (i myself like parking a lot, so ignore this suggestion if you want:P)

My thoughts:
- Timers back...They not being an option is cool with me as long as you fix the mob scaling exploit (btw, i use that all the time on T3, but this scaling its begining to take a hit on tombs market)
- Better quests rewards...500 gold for finishing a daily quest? Would be nice to have the option to take those dailies on elite and have a litle better reward...
- Id like some serious talk about class balance, not warr only, but also mage, share with us what you guys consider a viable way to give back endgame balance.
- An option to auto reject friend list invites.
- Since you mentioned a portal to GH, what about a portal on the map to Planar Tombs (Im too lazy XD )
- Rename kits for story tokens, Id say ankh kits and respec kits too but not sure if would be a good
move...- 5 pots from shazbot could be removed...5 pots is realy nothing and makes me wanna hit that litle guy...
- PVP system improvements, as you all probably saw, a lot of good suggestions were already made...
thing that can be farmed in tombs simply become low because:
1. someone out there can farm tombs with low to almost no cost at all
2. no buyers, every end-game players already have what they want there, and new players who can't farm it, can't buy those things
so price going down is (cmiiw) not a matter of timed runs, even if the timer is returned, or the difficulty increased, price in cs will always go down, until strong/smart players found effective ways, or until everyone get what they want. rather than that, i don't want to waste resources already spent because of getting dc while running
so it's simply you have to be the first ones to get the profits (for farmers)

In part you are right, but there is also other things to take into account. With the mob scale a lot of more undergeared players are hiting tombs, also breeze makes it almost chalenge free. So, with more people runing, more planar gear and chests drops, more suply for the same demand, prices fall.
