    Default Converting Gems to Jewels

lets look at lvl 46 item

    Stats added:
    Eye gem > +3 STR, +3 DEX, +3 INT, 1,07% Crit
Reinforced gem > +4 Primary Stat, +14 Armor (normal) > +6 Primary Stat, +28 Armor (grand)
Primary stat gem > +4 Primary Stat (normal) > +7 Primary Stat (grand)
Necropolis cursed skull > +60 Mana (normal) > +108 Mana (grand)

If we convert the gems we get:
    For eye gem > +8Dex, +8Str, +8Int, +1,68Damage, 26Armor, +0,84Crit, +96Hp, +96Mana (8 Noble jewels)
For reinforced gem > +4 Primary Stat, +15Armor (2 Standard jewels)
For primary stat gem > +1 Primary Stat (Cracked jewel)
For necropolis cursed skull > +60 Mana (Fortified Water jewel)

Just want to say: here are the stats, compare and see yourself. Something doesnt fit, there is no continuous system in converting gems to jewels. Neither in converting the stats nor the value. STS pls look into this, thank you in advance.

Well, since we can't combine the stats of different jewels together, we are forced to choose between the stats, whereas, with the gems, we can have all of those stats combined.

we can't compare it like that, for the same reason ruizhe has stated, and because first eye give you around 1.97 crit additionally...

anyway, hoarders also took their risk when hoarding jewels, and some just bought those recently, so the fairest conversion rate will the one that is close to market/auction/cs price when it is announced...,
to not give any more advantage to hoarders of this gems, without forcing them to sell it at very low price, while keeping the goal of phasing out jewels

and for that reason, eyes and para conversion rate is too high, while some other gems aren't
    always milking, no service

If we use eye only we only spend 1 slot, but if we convert we have to use 8 slots, extreme example: 15 eye still better than 15 jewels

I doubt this conversion is about the equality you speak of. It's rather a way of enticing people to convert to jewels in order to phase out old gems, and in the same process achieving a balance in the jewel system. It's a great way of avoiding deficit of (especially noble) jewels as there will be another level of jewels with the upcoming expansion.
