yup yup, rather than an egg-based augmentation, an unlockable mechanism could be great :P, like reaching certain level of the pet and then do some specific quest, unique to the pet, and after done successfully, its aa/happiness bonus can be equipped to other pets
if you're insisting with egg-based, please don't forget to release konga, grave, and valkin in form of eggs, and also, the very rare scorch
