Nott to be disrespectful or anything but I think we stray from the topic at hand.
From market manipulation we've started addressing the topic of hardships for a new player.
The trading permit exists for a reason(bots and safety of new players, mostly bots). I'm nott saying that this isn't putting off new players, example reaching a certain level to be able to trade for the hard core beginner players.
The second factor you mentioned: change. The game needs to evolve constantly if I've learned anything is a game that is static is going to die off.
Change is the only constant.
I think hardships faced by the mid tier players are the worst of all the types of players out there. With endgame gear reaching prices which are way out of their reach to crafting and inventory slots acting as a anchor weighing them down especially during events.(noone sells enough crafting inventory slots to make it feasible for new players to buy those).
Hopefully with the coming expansion STS can address these issues.
P.S.: I think that would be it for me posting on this thread about problems faced by game and it's economy unless people keep the dialogue going and the OP doesn't mind the derailment
