Lvl 76 Tainted Mages Build

Hi all, i am a lvl 76 mage. I have already used Taint set whic is fun for me to use because of the buff and stats its provide. I have tried arcanes but they dont fit my playstile only taint set does. But can someone help me with which is the best belt, amulet, and ring to use? And i saw lots of thread againts lifegiver skill in this forum, most of them complains about agro. Can someone help me to understand what agro is, and why is it bad for mages please? Thanks for the attention

Best belt ring amu, is prolly the interred 3/3 set, might depend on what maps you are running.

Aggro refers to who gets the mobs focus.
Say, ideally the tank hods the mobs aggro with his skill upgrades & mobs don’t pass him by and attack weaker classes with less armor/health.
Unfortunately lifegiver steals the mobs aggro & gets mages attacked. Dying isn’t worth saving a lil money on mana.
Besides that mages are more helpful if the use an attack that can stun/immobilize/knockdown/give dot/freeze
