Would love to know the new pricing in Australian dollars as well! I definitely would spend more if the price matches in AUDThanks!

long overdue
it's a step in the right direction
scamming themselves? wdym? haha haven't you seen the sad people spending tens of thousands of plat and not getting what they wanted?Originally Posted by Sampep
thousands of dollars...that's unheard of even in the most notorious gacha games these days
again what are you talking about? have u used plat in recent years?Originally Posted by Sampep
just look at the latest event: 3 different crates now...for gear...for vanity...for pet...
all the rng has been getting so bad that I could easily argue 4k plat for 60$ is barely worth it
I'm not even sure if the value you can get for 4000 plat today is close to the value of 1700 plat some years ago
that being said this change will have the following results:
- increase plat buyers interest/satisfaction(which has been at an all time low recently)
- convince more people to consider buying plat
- slight increase in the plat only item availability(again due to how bad the rng has become...soon we might have different crates for each piece of gear lol)
on the long run I don't see this change affecting the game economy that much in a bad way(and if it does I'm sure they'll just lower the rates even further)
but it will most definetly increase sts profits by a lot
Can we get that plat change in dark legend too ?
Im calling it now, the guranteed drop will increase to 1000.
Knowing sts, they will either do this or change smt about the drop rates of the "valuable items" from lockeds

The change in platinum prices with 1,700 platinum now costing $50 and 4,000 platinum costing $100—will make things more expensive in the game, much like printing more money causes inflation in real life. As platinum becomes harder to get, the platinum-to-gold exchange rate will likely rise, making it more expensive to buy things with gold. This will drive up prices for vanity, gear basically everything, making them less affordable for most players. To keep up with the rising prices, players will need to buy more platinum, which means spending more real money. In the end, everything from gear to collectibles will cost more, hurting the overall in-game economy and making it harder for casual players and normal plat users to keep up. This is all up for debate though just my personal opinion.
We will be granting Platinum to make up for the pricing difference for those that purchased Platinum within the last 7 days.
Yes, we have plans to adjust Platinum pricing for Pocket/Star/Dark Legends as well. There is no date on when this will occur, but it's currently high on our todo list.

special price for brazil country, to compare $99.99 in BRL R$581 compre $99 to 581, impossible to buy
tkz
Is there any plan to bring back free platinum offers in US??
Unfortunately, no. Free Platinum from offers mostly fell into two categories: player fraud/abuse and refused payouts from 3rd party providers. It was too much of a hassle to deal with. I also looked into offering video views for Platinum, but the views per Platinum ratios did not work for us.

what are you talking about? after this change there is more platinum for less moneyOriginally Posted by jaeden
it literally makes platinum easier to get not harder
that's the whole point
on the contraryOriginally Posted by jaeden
platinum only items should be cheaper
if we get more plat for less money every1 will have more plat resulting in more crates being opened and more platinum only items in the auction
which translates to lower prices in gold
I fail to comprehend how you got to these conclusions honestlyOriginally Posted by jaeden
what you're describing seems to be the complete opposite of what's intended with this change
Once this update goes live, we're going to be granting extra Platinum:
- 600 will grant 200 Platinum per package purchased within the last 7d
- 1700 will grant 155 Platinum per package purchased within the last 7d
- Adventurer's Kit will grant 20 Platinum per package purchased within the last 7d
These grants will appear as a single Platinum Adjustment in your purchase history and the adjustment will NOT count toward Account Rewards.

Can someone simplify why some people are complaining about the changes? (I dont get it) As someone who spends a lot in this game I love, I don’t see any negative effect of an improved in-app purchase rate.
Are they worried that their stored gold will get less value?
