I find out that many players buy stuff that they are not needing it at all, and resell it at a higher price that making new players cannot afford it to buy. I know these kind of things happen long time ago, but right now there are more and more people doing this. People farm gold for their dream gear, but suddenly the gear prices get higher which other people buy and resell it at higher price. Is there any ways to prevent this happen?

Just grind gold and wait for a few weeks or after few events till price go down. Tip: don’t get too addicted if u know there are players like that. So you won’t lose your mind. Also, no one wants to sell low, keep that in mind..

Would this phenomenon be called "price manipulation"? Regardless, the biggest solution to reduce or prevent this problem is for endgame gears and valuable items to become more readily available outside of locked crates and time limited events.

90% of co in trader market is fake, not sure when it became like this
Guess most just hope all the real price are flushed out as the forum clears all the post over 6 months
so they can scam people into believing those co is real

It is like 80-90% buyers are merchant/reseller. They will buy everything lower than 50% normal price.
So the best way to sell something is just put it at Auction.

Having the history pric of items sold in auc would help.

But since the gear supply is one main reason of this issue i dont think that it's solvable by STS due to their monatization strategy.

Yeah, but this kind of things happen in auction too hahah, they buy all the stuff they think that are cheap, and resell it at a higher price. For exp a sb ring, 9m in auction, they buy and resell at 12m. These make new player with few gold loot need to grind more for that.

This just means the item was put in auction with very low price. Nothing wrong if someone notice that and put it back in auction with the real price. If the price is manipulated or too high in items like sb people wont pay. Different story with the very limited vanitys tho..
