Back when procs didn't just involve buffing the player like crazy and different weapons were useful. Strategies were actually needed for runs, glow aa to stop the witches and give shield, dragon daggers to stun, drag staff for bosses

Same. Although I enjoyed all expansions because everyone played together on them because we needed to. Actually more like we needed each other.
Kraken was ok, Shuyal was great because we farmed a lot there in Elites. I find it difficult to choose a favourite but unfortunately I wasn't keen on Vardan, the Mogera map or Festerfang swamp map.

When those obviously uncontrolled procs were not there and when pvp was good.

Moreover teamplay was needed in a way every class must do its part unlike right now when only one dude can do everything.

yeah i expected maus to win fav. i still keep my drag staff around- also maus was the only expansion where dropped gear (dusk) was something you could farm and legit use in that map
mages and witch mobs were so bad they were nerfed lol

Haha. I was the one who was rubbish at "parking" hence why I have so many deaths on my kdr. The guild I was in at that time were very understanding even when all the mobs came raining down on them in elite Shuyal and Planar. Still have my planar pendant though. A less complicated time gear wise but a lot of thought was placed on strategy.
Underhul maps are rarely mentioned but the first map in elite (ESG) mode was where we all went for gold loot.
My favourite map for artwork is Nordr.

When they released Planar tombs and arena to drop amu recipe & vials for nekro. The armor sets from planar tombs were great as well.

I'd say Tindrin for me.

- Good wide selection of mythic + legendary weapons that were useful and balanced in both pve and pvp
- Speaking of pvp, it was pretty balanced
- You could use a mix of gear from 31-41 to play in maps
- Heavy emphasis on class roles, you needed warriors to pull, aggro and park. Mages to heal and do AOE and finally rogues to kill bosses on elite Tindrin maps.
- You also had a lot of content you could farm, from elite maps, planar tombs and planar arena
- Events during this period were very fun, but that could just be me being nostalgic (2014)
- Planar pendant. It was a beast, and you had to work hard to get it... no crate opening. In fact, a lot of your gear that mattered was farmable.

then it start to go downhill sadly, every new expansion was hoping that the old fun come back but instead the game have became way too complicated for nothing(proc stack then mutiple set stack zzzz), and now its way more "Casino" vibe than "Hack N Slash" vibe

I have also like the power that Ebon Aegis was giving us xd

Anyway i finally lost hope and went looking for some other game and found one i got completely hooked

Yes, I'd forgotten all about Tindirin and farming jewels but I went mainly for team-play and most players wanted to solo that place, well the players I knew did.

Another vote for Tind- was so fun running elites back then and trying to take down the mobs. All while players having to run back when killed as ankhs were not yet around and could only rev with plat.
