Bigger in size? or kilo bytes? the maximum is 15kb or less due to it converted into byte rate.

Uhh Ill clean this thread up... put stuff im working on and finished signatures in the first post to go easy on the bandwidth, and make it simpler to find the last ones. I use photoshop, but sometimes I dont have it installed so I just use pixlr its really great for this kind of stuff

Im a lot slower on gimp, although I know that you can do some really good stuff with it easier (faces for example :P)

I really like what you have done. And not to be a nitpicker. The skull image. Could you make it so you can see more of it? Could you also change the text? A little smaller for my name. A font similar to what I have in my sig now. And the colour of the text to a light blue or red. I really do appreciate the work.

You should try Gimp. Its open source and has almost every feature Photo Shop has. I used this when I was doing signatures. Now that I am back in school and have a small notebook PC I no longer have it. If you google Gimp tutorials or Youtube Gimp tutorials there is a ton of great info around.

well my brother uses photoshop and it's too complicated for me. I'll look at gimp, maybe I can do basic text stuff. Thanks

I did anwer you! I said I used photoshop, but Im equally comfortable using pixlr. Try Pixlr! you will like it, its entirely online and you dont have to install anything, and its very good. Maybe I will post a quick and dirty guide to making signatures, it can be done in 6-10 steps, its not that hard. I use fonts from DA font.com, and sometimes text from cooltext.com or glowtext.com. Slap it all onto one file in pixlr, use the eraser brush with a fade setting for blending layers, play around with the layer blending effects (usually screen, transparency or multiply) - this gets either the lighter aspects or the darker aspects of the image on the lower layers. Also, if you are looking for x thing in the signature, then google "renders" for example "kratos renders" will give you a bunch of kratos cutouts, you just got to open them and slap em on to your image. People who make siggies use cutouts all the time. I make renders too, we call em templates, but I post them in other image-editing forums. Im not about linking em here, because they have adult material, but these sites have tons of resources in terms of background fx, like lines, splatters, or shapes. Thers a bunch of other stuff as well, like brushes and styles... but this is enough to get going. Hmm. If theres anything specific you would like to know I dont mind posting it.

Just went to glowtxt.com, and I love it

!! It'll be cool for making text signatures. I was told that for picture signatures and stuff, you're supposed to keep the font small and simple...but I guess for a just text sig I can go crazy right? Time to play!
