I saw the trailer for DL and is it violent? Yes. Is it 17+ violent? NO. I have played a ton of games and some of the most violent ones. Manhunt, which is probably one of the most gruesome games I've ever seen, is without a doubt 17+. In the trailer for DL, it showed people getting sliced in half and yeah there was some blood, but it still might as well be cartoon violence (maybe even strong cartoon violence). There isn't much point in arguing for it to be 13+ because website pretty much says its going to be 17+, and it has a majority of the communities vote. I for one will not be playing DL if this happens (most likely), because I am sort of let down that this highly anticipated new MMORPG from Space Time Studios will be unavailable to us "children" (under 17 people). Then again, why would I wait an entire year for a game that I can't even play? I don't see a valid reason.
That's all that I wanted to say.

It depends on who you are, some parents would not want their kids seeing blood drip down (up since it was like reverse or whatever) out of someones mouth. It wasnt really violent at all she is just sitting there. Its the gore and the whole darkness of it
I'm not talking about the teaser. There's a video by IGN on YouTube. It's a game play trailer and it looks like 13+ max IMO.
Here's the link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHMjAjR_9jg
I still would say its very gory blood all over the place, even splatters on your screen, also just way darker like the pentagram. I know at 13 my parents wouldnt have wanted me to play.
Well a game being 17+ isn't just because of blood and gore. Realistic violence, dark tones and more realism to the overall game is what makes a game more mature. If it does end up 17+ I'm sure it would be because the game would be an overall more mature theme (characters, NPCs, violence, surroundings, etc.)

You guys are still arguing over this? Only children moan and groan constantly when they don't get what they want.
Get over it.
Look what you've done Skel. We would've gotten away with it headache free, if it weren't for you meddling kids
Still think it would be cool if STS did this.

Yet again I feel the need to reiterate Space Time Studios is not responsible for the rating the ESRB gives Dark Legends. If you don't like the games rating write the ESRB an email and complain.

The esrb rating isnt gonna stop little kids from playing. The only way to actually restrict this is in STS's powerOriginally Posted by Aculeas:581835
