Pink drop question

I'm on my L62 mage in fang trying to level her when I get a pink drop from Vlod. L61 pink. I though at 62 it will bump up my pink drops to 63? I never really farmed for anything besides cap pinks so uh my theory is wrong?

You will get 61 drops until you hit 63. I don't remember the exact level where they switched it up, but the low levels go up a level (22 gets 23, etc). Higher levels go down a level (62 gets 61).

Nope, lvl62 still gets lvl61 gear. Then lvl63 & 64 get 63 gear, and lvl65 and over get 65 gear. You shouldn't be complaining as 61 gear is worth more.

with the old scale system it was also depending from the threat level, not sure if its still so.

To put it simple you always get gear you can wear. A lv62 cant wear a lv63 item simple right.

This sounds like how it was before based on treat level. Im sure it changed to scaling to where you can wear it as opposed to treat level which is determined by party level.

if this is true the threat level system is still active.

f.e. if ur lvl 52 and want to get lvl 51 items u must be sure the threat level is yellow and not red. and techno email is right, if ur soloing a map, the level will go down faster than in a full group, but not that much and u need to kill a certain amount of mobs anyway to make spawn the boss

When i join a group of all L71s in a Nuris map with my L57 bird, L56 items drop from the regular mobs BUT i get L58 items drop from mini bosses and bosses.

When i join a group of all L71s in a Fang map with my L62 bird, L61 items drop from regular mobs AND bosses

So whats the deal? Not consistent!!
