Everyone else, I rushing to get some out quickly before (this will sound lame..) but a field trip to Malibu with my teacher and some students, apparently reading poems on the beach is worth extra credit to her, so I'm in to get my grades up. So I'll be taking my laptop, but I'll make a list of the sigs I'm working on soon, so no one thinks we haven't started anything or forgotten about it.

It isn't clear because the renders you used weren't cut-out well. The PL shield and character render is roughly rendered and it seems that you over sharpened it (you can tell because the P & L are starting to get really glitchy looking).

You can make your characters pop-out by using filters such as drop-shadow or various blurs to create the illusion of them being 3-dimensional. With blending you it helps if there is a particular color-scheme within the signature. Whilst the abstract background of the signature it set in hot-tones (red,yellow,black), you used a cool blue tone for a text, hence why it isn't really 'blended'.

yeah anytime man! These things are always fun to make, sometimes can be a challenge but just need to work around it to make it work haha. I put the head on the character with hat and all! but just wasn't very well looking, so I thought this was better haha :P
