Good point, but it's like beggars. Constantly asking for Gold if you have good items equipped..

I still can't help, but feel sorry for all those, who spent 10+ mil trying to acquire hammerjaw or arcane blades. I wish there was an option to get around the issue of passing items along, however the fact that it will require us to pay hundreds of dollars possibly to get them? Well that's just awful, that's all I'm gonna say to it...

Why do you HAVE to spend that much to get them? The Arcane and Mythic items all drop out of Elite dungeons, outside of the platinum locked crates.

Achievements are only given when looted (same for eggs) or Store bought (like Ripmaw)

This is very important and not something we will change. If we were to give you the achievement for just owning the item, then players can trade it around to give the achievement to each other. That in itself is not such a big deal to us, but when someone decides to log off with someone else's Mythic (i.e. steal it) it becomes a problem. Or the players that have an Arcane/Mythic item and constantly get tells in town from players that want to borrow their item for the achievement.

If you looted a Mythic or Arcane out of a chest and didn't get the achievement, send an e-mail to support@spacetimestudios.com

They do, if you have 20 hours play time a day. And still, you need luck.

Sure some people do, but they have all the time they want to play, and most of the time, it's the same peeps that gets em..

I mean, after farming for days and days and never receiving a single pink, doesn't make me want to TRY and get one of these.

Anyways I know, you won't change it. And I will never get the achievement and many of us too.

well, this is what i want. Giving us time to cast our skills and enhance pvp talents(tactics) is way fun than dying from unknown arrows.

An update is happening, as it says on that screen. "Arcane Legends is down for a content update."

I saw but I was curious. Because usually when there is a content update it doesn't do this.

No you will not get that. We don't have the tech currently to make that distinction. Besides, that's a strange precedent to set. If I trade it to you for 5 million you won't get the achievement but you will if I put it up for that price in the Consignment Store and you buy it there. I'd rather be consistent with this to avoid any confusion or Customer Service problems.

Regardless of how strange it is, it would give people who have skill in merching, but not the time to farm for days on end or a safe full of extra cash laying around to use on crates, a chance at getting the achievement. It makes perfect sense to me, anyone willing to pay the amounts the items are currently going for in the auction deserve the achievements in my mind.

Also, Sam, why ya editin my last post? Nothing was wrong with it nor did you change anything...

And no, you will not get the achievement for opening the Hammerjaw egg, only for looting it (I was wrong in my first post and have since edited it).

What about making it grant the achievement when you open an egg instead of when you loot it? (or both perhaps). This would give some of us who are less lucky an opportunity to buy the egg and then open it. And you couldn't share it with your friends as once it is opened it is no longer tradable.

If it's the case that you don't get the achievement for opening a hammerjaw egg, you can expect the price of hammerjaw eggs to go way way down as who would really want to pay millions of gold for the egg if you don't even get the achievement. The pet itself is no better than a number of other pets.

Really soon and yes that's exactly the problem we wanted to avoid. It's no fun for anyone to get blown up in one hit, leaves little room for tactics.
