Lol I wanted to do the following for mine:

*black screen* where do you play pocket legends?
I play pocket legends in *pan around to me*
PRISON! *bars go down in front with a clang* pocket legends, WoW in your orange jumpsuit!

Lol I think that could be really funny, and it would get alot of laughs, but I did not think it would win lol so I entered something else

P.S. lol I'm not in prison, just thought it would be a funny vid!

PFTrack or PFHoe will, with a lot of tweaking, track a camera shot and create a 3D space around it based on movement.

Workflow for video:
Storyboarding-->Shooting-->Adobe After Effects for image stabilization tweaks-->PFTrack for camera *.ma file-->PS CS5 for repousse 3D text/vectors-->After Effects for text placement and color timing-->Final Cut Pro for editing

I really like the idea of making text a 3D element that tracks with the real world. It feels less intrusive to the eye, it keeps the viewer on the plane the director wants the viewer to be, there's no choice between looking at two separate in-focus planes. I think the opening credits to David Fincher's PANIC ROOM was an early example of it's use, and it's being used a lot in Fringe, but I expect it will grow to be pretty commonplace in the future. It just makes so much sense...

I would also like to say, this is my first video, I've never messed with any of this stuff before(except storyboarding). It's a steep learning curve at first, all this software, but it gets pretty easy pretty fast.

BONUS: watch in HD 720p, pause it when looking at the Opera House in the first shot. I spent a great deal of time getting that miniature effect, using multiple depth maps and blah blah blah(shooting with cheapo Flip cameras will NOT give you any depth of field!). The idea there was, pocket legends is small, tiny, in your pocket, so something epic and huge like the Opera House in Sydney should have that same feel. It's easy to miss, but super cool if you catch it!
