Tip on Taurus.....with no tank in party.

Pull Taurus near top and away from vine rez area.

When you see large redzone, move out, keep clear from pink flashes at all cost, this will prevent rocks falling.

Mage deals with vines where they rez, rogues keep a kinda triangle formation, this will confuse Taurus and he will dance aimlessly between. Rogue nearest to mage also helps out.

As illustrated with my awesome art work....

Yea it was a good night/morning. Played until 6 AM in morning or maybe a bit later. :unconscious:

Challenger in first arena run was awesome. I actually think my mage had similar luck long ago. :tongue:

And I got all Glob, Rutger and Frostir essences within 10 arena runs. :applause:

I got done with tooth farming a week ago.

What I did to accelerate my tooth farming was to enter with pugs, send friend invites to what I thought may be decent farmers. Tooth farming is not really exciting, so it can be hard to get a pt on gc.

Planar Tomb 2 there's been a buff, people are running this map like pre-buff and dying by unnecessary dog and giant pulls, those dogs are now boss status, meaning one hit kills. Here are some tips on T2, it's not the fastest but it'll save ankhs and deaths. You really only need to encounter one giant and no more than 2 dogs.

The first pull, is at a point below, this resets the mage. Also pull the skelly on far left next to the dog but NOT THE DOG. You can do this by hugging the wall and going close to the skelly, this will aggro him and leave the dog chewing on the remnants of a poor smurf.

The second pull can be done in two steps, first run to the point below, the dog in the pathway will give chase but will reset at the pull point, if it doesn't just move a bit to the right bottom hand corner, aggro whatever except the bubble guy and the dog lurking up there. Kill mobs and then aggro bubble bobble guy and dog, 4 vs 1 boss dog is good odds :) let the mage stun and freeze the dog, this keeps party safe and allows rogues to snipe it to death.

The 3rd pull is where people screw up the most and aggro dogs and giants and cause quit rages. You will see a dog chewing on the last guy who pulled him. You can avoid this dog by hugging the wall all the way round and ending on the left of the wall opposite the statue or just slightly above the point shown even, make sure to aggro the skellies as you hug the wall, also either you or a party member aggros the vines at the entrance of the path leading to the next room and pulls them down towards the party. By staying left near the wall, you won't aggro dogs or giants.

Now we are into the second room, gonna do this pull in two steps for sanity sakes, so pull all vines and bubble bobble guy to the point shown, do not pull mage and giant. Step 2 - After killing mob then pull mage and giant and kill near statue.

Next we stay to the right and run into the entrance of the path way leading to boss room, we kill all vines there.

Then we gang the dog PvP style :) and then TADAAAAAA we fight boss.

P.S Should any mobs reset, boss will not spawn and you will need to kill more towards the end. Practice makes perfect.

I want tell about how to kill boss t2, for it you need to now a few things. 1) be away from him and his big red zone around(kill u in 1 hit) 2) mages don't need to use clock bec easy to die from this red zone 3) trying be away from each other to save lives 4) moving all the time, especially when boss is looking whom he wants to hit(long small red zone) 5) if u tank and useing axe to put him out, plz check that u do it away from ppl near u(had a few times when tank used axe near me and I was killed from boss's red big zone), if u can, better don't use it for safety. Gl!

Sadly no. I've wanted to merge my test server toon (on FB) with my main (on Google) since forever but c'est impossible.

Remember back in lvl 41 when elite egg cracking was a tough AP to get? Especially since, at the time, arcane ring and pets weren't so affordable. Yes, it had meant that we had to try many times, experiment with different strategies, and yes, fail miserably again and again. But I remember the sweet triumph when I finally nailed the AP (thank you Guru, Vig and Xy!) and, feeling very proud of the accomplishment, took off guild title (a sacrilege for GM) and paraded The Great Defiler in cities for a few minutes. The victory was even sweeter because I wasn't using mythic weapon (and neither was Vig's rogue) and we were all using legendary pets (I love you Gyrm!).

One thing I remember from that time is that warriors were usually relegated to the sad, lonely task of keeping the guards busy while the dps sneaked in to scramble the egg. And there was no way we would've been able to pull it off of there had been more than one warriors in the party.

You know what makes a run longer, scattered mobs!

Use the choke point against the last mob before boss run. Aggro shaman mob and the above 2 archers in there and blast away. If the archers seem rather reluctant then go a little below the choke point to entice them in and then back up again to set the shaman and his mob in there too.

It's a year when many of us got not only arcane pets, but also arcane ring, Planar pendant, and mythic weapons. But every piece of OP gear I got in 2015 had a story woven into it, and the knights featured in it. My arcane ring was made possible by Merlinmagi finding me a seller of arcane shard within my (limited) budget. My Planar pendant was crafted with a recipe gifted to me by Gurukay, my partner in crime in months of frustrating, recipeless Arena runs. And my first mythic weapon, a Glintstone bow, was secured with Warhorseman's help.

The year 2015 was marked with changes and challenges for our guild.

In the beginning of the year we finally had a place to chat off game, when we opened the Trinity Knights Line group. The group had been very useful for sharing game updates, discussing build/gear/pet, and the occasional spamming of cute Korean idol stickers.

The chat group has also been helpful in organizing runs and events. We did a number of events in 2015:

TK hit #18 on Top 50 Guild leaderboard on September 11, 2015, the highest we had ever gone up to since debuting on November 6, 2013.

After much deliberation and discussion, we did the final (and most painful) purging of inactive members, knowing well the consequences.

This is where we were our last week on Top 50 guild leaderboard, after 100 unbroken weeks of climbing up and down the rungs.

Lastly I made the decision to step down from guild master seat and entrust Trinity Knights under the aegis of Killerxyler's leadership. Please continue your solid support for the GM's policies and decisions, because a guild is much bigger than the GM and officers. It takes everyone in it to be able run smoothly.

The last two decisions had been extremely difficult to make. But they couldn't have been as tough (nor as exciting) as the decision made by officers Azapauele and Markrossrogue who got married this year (not to each other!). Aza's wedding was on August 15, while Mark and Emma's was on November 12. Congratz!

Panta rhei. Everything flows, everything changes. So what changes are we to see in TK in 2016? Let's find out together.

They helped me and another rogue finish our dailies even though they were already finished, they are really great runners too and very nice peeps. Hello Knights!

As some of you might know, i started my journey to get Ancient Planar Pendant long long time ago, back then the Ancient Planar Pendant Recipe were very expensive. I ran a lot of arena without any luck, and ended up buying it when it fell below 50k. Next up were the Dragonite bar which i finally finished of during the last double chance for teeth event. At that time the market were flooded with arcane shards so i ended up crafting my arcane ring instead.

Winter event 2015 started and went on for some time, and suddenly i returned to the idea of crafting the Ancient Planar Pendant. I started out with buying a Dragonite Bar and getting the relic from the Mercier in the tomb entrance hall, just as everyone else who went through the process of crafting pendant. Over two days and 25 arena runs i had all the uncleaned essences from the arena bosses.

During the 25 runs i was lucky enough to loot a recipe, so I got a little closer to have the pendant my 100% by myself without buying my way.

These definitely aren't going to be a walk in the park. To earn titles like: "Scourge of Goblins," "Rogue Hunter," "Shadowmancer" and "Dragonborn" you've got a long hard battle ahead of you.

-at least level 45+
-minimum of 35K pve kills
-can provide 3 of these 5 titles; The Hammer, The Tranquil, The Great Defiler, Planeswalker, and Orcslayer
-must have positive attitude and mature personality (we do not babysit)
-must have clean history (NO record of scamming, guild hopping, excessive drama, and being disrespectful)
NOTES:
1)In the event that the recruit meets all criteria except for PVE kills. They can still join TK provided that they have to reach 35k pve kills in their first 5 days as a guild member. The recruiter/officer will verify it when the 5th day is over.
2)Every recruit should have an approval of an officer/gm before they can be invited. (Just in case they are in the TK's blacklist)
3)The recruiter is responsible on their recruits if in the event the recruit commits minor offense. Major offense will be taken care of gm/officers

I hoped i would loot 10 Vials of Undead Ectoplasm, in the chests. I bought a fossil before opening the chests as i got a fine deal.

I started writing up the 46 build/gear guide months ago (remember when I enlisted Misha's help to survey CS for legendary rings and amulets?). But 46 is a huge territory to cover. We have plenty of skills points that allows for a lot more skills combos for different needs. And with jewels, it isn't so straightforward to recommend gear. At some point it got too big, I got lazy, and figured it's better to just leave discussions on Line and let people decide what suit their playstyle better. Did I mention Ibgot lazy? LOL. But it's good idea, Dk, and probably about time now that we might be looking at another cap level around the corner.

Interesting! He did tell me he had a name once. Then one moonlit night while hanging by the ship side dizzy with seasickness he heard a beautiful song. It was a mermaid singing a haunting song he didn't understand, to a group of dolphins lazily swimming around her. The man, in true sailor fashion, called out to her and asked her for a kiss. The mermaid said she doesn't kiss men she doesn't know. So he gave her his name. The mermaid gave him a kiss. After that the man couldn't recall his own name. Noone in the ship knew either. Even in the ship ledger where the captain noted down his pay, he was written as "Man with no name". He told me he still kept the mermaid's kiss. He showed it to me. It was an empty conch shell, beautiful, but hard with sharp spikes. I asked if he regretted giving his name to the mermaid, he said he would do it again in a heartbeat, except he still couldn't decide what new name to take for himself.

But hey, this is the guy who can't tell a seagull from a landfall, so I wouldn't give that much credit to his (varying) stories.

I wrote these tips on another thread but figured to put it here as well in hopes that the knights will find it useful.

Rogue survival tips on nerfed armor:

Always use effigy buff on elite runs. Apart from the armor, the doll gives crit buff, and we all can use more crit now that passive crit is nerfed
Use pets like Swift and Stanlee that gives armor boost. Swift's pull can help with crowd control and Stanlee's AA buffs damage and crit to all party.
If you already have a Nekro in party, consider using Maridos. In addition to the huge health boost, Maridos AA gives 15 STR, which means more HP for everyone, and the 15% armor doesn't hurt either, just in case, for example, your doll buff expires mid-fight.
Crowd control pets like Breeze help give you some breathing room from the manic potting.
Blinky's AA drops enemy dmg by 50%. Timed well, it's a lifesaver. Save the AA for when Rengol giant does big red zone attack for example.
If you use daggers, use shadow veil to raise your armor while lowering enemy damage and hit chance. Shadow veil doesn't stack though, so just one rogue using it in party is enough. Warrior benefits from the veil as well if it is dropped around them as they tank.
If you use razor shield, time it well. Use it when you have to close in on an target you want to pick out. Or when running to skip mobs. Or when Nekro shield is down.
If you don't think your armor is strong enough for you to pierce into a group of mobs, consider taking shadow storm shot as your third attack skill, instead of shadow piercer. The skill has been fixed and now works well.
If necessary, for example when you can't find a good warrior to tank for your party, use damage reduction elixir. It's cheaper than ankhs and depending on where and who you run with is good for between 3 to 6 runs.


More than ever now, a warrior's skills in tanking is crucial for the safety and smoothness of the runs. Luckily the warrior's masteries are good for better taunting of enemies and protecting allies. Vigulfr and Warhorseman had been looking into axe throw, windmill and heal masteries with satisfactory results. I encourage all warrior knights to discuss changes to their build with these tanks. We have always included warriors in our runs, but now especially, we can no longer tolerate poor tanking, because the rogues can't take up the slack anymore and tank for the party.

If you have more tips to help our rogues enjoy the game and prevent them from mothballing their toons, feel free to share.

So the community goal progress bar has to fill up three times (Bronze, Silver and finally Gold tier) to get expansion maps to open. That's a lot of crafting material to farm. So here are some ideas on how to make this farming activity less boring:


Find the Elusive Four. Blitz through the last two Dead City maps, the last three Nordr maps, and Grog Beach/Skull Cove/Palmrock Island in Kraken Isles to find Amra-zu, Argex and Firstmate Ripper. Getting them all in addition to Skratch will give you the Elusive Four achievement
Find elite Bael 2 and Krunch 2. Kill bosses in Windmoore Harbor, Mt. Spyr, and Crystal Caverns for a chance to spawn Bael 2. Kill bosses in Oltgar and Lost Mariner Reef for a chance to spawn Krunch 2. Both elite bosses give achievement
Find the minibosses of Rockhorn Summit. Run the whole map to find the snake Hisoth, the komodo Il'loran and the dragkin Berlu. Take selfie with them before you kill them for a chance of tooth. Post here or on Line chat to boast your encounter with these super rare minibosses
Kill mobs and bosses in elite maps to get the elite kill APs. Party up so the warriors get a chance to farm elite stars too


Vary your farming zone every 15-20 minutes.

If you can't find a party to farm, solo the maps, then let's meet in GH to share materials. Last year many knights had their names immortalized in the Fortification of Garetta event leaderboard. It might be harder to accomplish that now. But we can do our very best.

Actually I've been thinking since you told me about your SW pet collection that it would be a great idea to name my pets after Tolkien's characters. So the arcane pets can be named after the Valar, mythic ones after the Maiar (good ones and bad), legendary ones take elvish names, human names and dwarf names, while rare and common pets are named after the bad guys (Thuringwethil for Malgo...waaah!); should be fun! Until I have to locate them LOL.

PS. Confession. For a long time I didn't know what Precious looked like or if I owned one, because I named mine Marshmallow from the first LOL.

PREPARING FOR UNDERHUL EXPANSION

The pic above is the community event progress bar when I left for dinner about an hour ago. Remiem had indicated that gold tier will be reached at 800k-850k mark (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?306705-That-s-how-many-gems-we-must-get-to-REACH-GOLD-TIER-on-Enderhul-event-!-G-L) so the unsealing of the Underhul maps, which opens the new maps and new cap for us, isn't very far off.

Here are some pointers on how to prepare for and what to do during the first days and weeks of expansion:

Early start. Go to Stronghold and take the Unstoppable Force and Dungeon Crawler quests from the Bard there. Go to Camp Boulder and Tunnels of Valheim to complete the quests. When expansion maps open as we reach gold tier, turn in the quests so you can start leveling with 600XP under your belt.

Where should I go to level up?

Kraag Tomb 4. Read the guide HERE (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?144452-Guide-The-Definitive-Guide-to-Speed-Leveling-and-Kraag-Tomb-4).
Kraken Mine 3. The one place you can be sure to have a full map any time of day.
Tindirin, Ren'gol and Underhul maps. Farm jewels while you level up



Where should I put points when I level up? You can max out or choose new useful passives, upgrade skills, or take up new ones. Here is one idea: take and max out Damage passive. You can always respec at level 56!

Should I put points on mastery?
I would wait till level 56 to decide whether or not to take mastery, and what mastery to choose. It depends on:

[B]What you like to do in game. Do you spend more time casual farming on normal maps? Or run elite? Or PvP?
What your gears are. STS had announced changes in weaponry released in Underhul expansion. (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?306478-Weapon-Changes-in-Curse-of-the-Cryostar/page3) This might change our gear preference and playstyle, and therefore our build. Wait till you get your gears before respec'ing with mastery.
New map challenges. We don't know yet what changes we have to do to survive better and farm faster on new maps.

Congratulations! It's an Officer!

We haven't promoted a new officer in a while, so yesterday's ceremony was a very momentous one. Please join me in congratulating Lugs (aka Lugwena/Silago) for his promotion to the ranks of officers.

But I think what made the promotion even more unique was how Lugs, Vigulfr, Alxesandro and me decided to celebrate the happy occasion.

First we went to Planar Tombs 2 and do all-warrior runs. Vig described the runs as relaxing. But Alxe summed it up best here.

Then we headed out to elite Undim Fields to find more bubbled skeletons to play ping-pong with using axe throw.

A few day ago i went to the Elite Planar Arena with Hail and Markrossrouge to look for the Challenger. The search was finished off pretty fast as we found him in very few runs!
