Gonna go Military. It's built exactly like a Paladin in WoW, so I'm gonna check if I can see a possible skill for plate armors at later levels. Paladins had plate mastery at 50 so they could wear plate armors, hopefully monks do too at 40 :)

When I took a quest, I wanted to adandon the quest and come to it later on in the game but when I "dropped" the quest, I couldn't get it any more. Any method to get my quest again?

Iam rolling assasin I find iam still pretty squishy but once I get far enough in iam getting the skill that increases dodge by 30% and its a 3point skill....... not sure how they are working it hope its not 30/60/90 cause that seems godly with agilty. Maybe I read it wrong and its a evasion button like in wow ill have to reread it when I get back in game.

Yup, WoW-like respawn rates are meant to be that way, especially since the areas were meant for multiple players.

What's better is that the best gear later on will mostly need you to actually loot them if I'm not mistaken. They bind when you loot, so theres no buying them.

I think there might be purchasable ones too, but not sure if they're as good or maybe don't look as nice as drop only :D

Yeah, same here on bind on pickup. There have been times that I do quests and the only rewards are for mages/archers. Although I can still use them as a warrior, not good at all.

The first auction house I came by was in Bell... Towne. It'll look like a small hammer as a picture in the map, and the NPR stood on top of the mailbox/storage.

I don't see a point in holding on, especially if you've gotten a better one. Liquidate for me too.

I can't wait to get started on monk. Have a few plans for him already :p

How does it work? I visited the PvP NPCs in towns, and they say "PvP is coming soon.."

I also haven't noticed open world PvP since Order & Chaos are practically together.

Yeah there are pvp zones that automatically enable you in pvp mode for 5 min. The pvp zones are in the open world ,( I forget the zone names) (I've seen 2 so far) and people normally Spawn kill there.

Also if you die in pvp you loose no money.

I love my monk. I am the type that likes to be able to solo and the monk is it for me. I also love to buff and heal where I need to, but not have to feel like that's all I'm good for. I've been running pretty strong on my warrior as well.

This game is really bad for me.
I go in and never come out.
And I don't even progress all that much for my time lol. I spend so much time exploring. And finally started getting into crafting (which is done the way crafting is supposed to be *cough*). Btw, how do I start making archer weapons?

There's just so much to do, I haven't felt the need to grind AT ALL.

Also, the Pin Feet skill gives my archer much more survivability -- I can get a few shots in before they start running to me. The later skills sound pretty good, too.

And I finally realized that if I follow the main road, nothing attacks. Lol I had always blindly followed the arrow right through mobs. Slow learning curve :p

I've also just been following quests, it's an easy way to know where to go and to level up too.

Archer weapons should still work the same way as the armours, you just need to find the recipe from the NPC.

No problem, same happens to me too. I've been debating to myself if I should switch off Loot Display, but I find it really useful to know what I'm getting :p

Unfortunately, I don't know a way either. I never log out anymore though, I just hit the Home and put the device to sleep. When I open the app again, it just synchronizes with the server and brings me back to where I was :D

Agree, at times I can't tell if I would get attacked or not. Sometimes I'm near but don't, sometimes I'm far but do.

As for the battery, I'm not sure. I don't think so though, haven't noticed yet, but will keep an eye out.

Well, I am used to being squishy as an archer :p even with 166 armor in OaC, those crabs on the beach were kicking my butt if two or three ganged up on me. I guess I have to pay more attention to really staying ranged/away from tgt moreso than in PL, where I attack/pot constantly.

Yeah I haven't eaten or used a pot once. I usually run if I'm low on health (or die if I'm ganged up on). But wow nice to team with a monk (and Mage! Thx Red!).

I would love to hear from a higher lvl archer whether it gets any better. I liked it at low low lvls, but seems really underpowered right now.

Hmm... Well if archers are the only class that can do it, I'd feel a bit better about it.

I'm also deciding whether or not to pick up the skill that adds 10% damage to range attacks while lowering melee attacks by 5%. Have any archers tried it? Like it/hate it?

It's working well! I have that skill that gives me 25% chance to double cast a certain skill, and 10% chance to triple cast it. The fist seems pretty good too, it allows me to squeeze in one attack in between spells.

I still need more talents though, need way more power. :p

Well, I find that soloing works fine due to being able to enslave mobs, and with the 10% less mana per cast I find that mana isn't a problem like with my mage. I tend to group up though, as being a healer I find people tend to appreciate my help and I can get into more exclusive groups.

For soling mobs I throw on a 2h wep and pretty much just heal and auto attack while I make my enemies friend kill my target. I chuck on a staff when in group though, as sp really improves my heals.

Gotta say, I love the group targeting system. Being able to target by tapping portraits makes healing really fun. Wish buffs reached all the nearby members in your group. Buffing a 5 man group with gcd and separate cd's is really quite tiresome.

Getting to a high lvl doesn't make you an expert. It means you have a lot of time and a lot of dedication to it. But by expert I mean, able to answer questions about builds, etc. I don't think anyone has played enough yet to know the game inside and out. It's only been 3 days!

Ugh I really hate that spider forest. The graveyard is right in the middle and they still attack you while you're in there -- so, respawn, die, respawn, die, etc etc. Lost 60 silver just dying in that one location. Ugh. Thanks Kenemily for getting me out of there and helping me complete those two quests :)

I guess I've hit the point where level DOES matter. Till recently I've been fine mostly soloing, no grinding.

Les, rangers have got it so goooood. I was helping my bro catch up earlier so we could quest at the same time, and he was just killing things left and right and I'll just heal! Skill spams are no problem in energy, and damage was so good too.

He mentioned that kiting was doable too, not normal attacks though. He showed me, but the he was using skills and not really normal attacks. So good!!

I think he stops for a second to skill, then continues moving. Not constantly moving though.

He solos, yeah. I was just healing him earlier and he was doing pretty well, one heal every 2-3 monsters he kills, and they were like 1-2 levels ahead of him.

Yeah he told me he's definitely focusing on range only, and won't bother with melee.

As for the crafting, I'm not sure. I haven't had any problems with it since..

He was 16-18 when I helped him. He was killing the demons next to salty town pretty quick too.

I don't think there's a ranger trainer in tear cost :( have to fly back to silence or to windmill then walk to greenmont.

Les do you group a lot? I find it a lot faster lvling when killing quests to just add those around me to get quest done and turn in cause the xp u lose from grouping you make up for when you get xp from quest anjd it billion times faster helps everyone trying to do quest.

Same here iam almost 22 but iam taking it slow and enjoying the game not wanting to rush to end if they havnt implemented end game stuff yet. I have been having trouble leveling my monk recently, as pure heals I literally take 10 hits + to kill anything. It's true I can pull groups through ridiculous fights, but it's irritating me that when I am forced on my own to complete I quest, I struggle to kill mobs my own level. Any tips?

I could see where your problem is Necro, especially since your full support. In general though, pure supports have a hard time soloing :(

Staff, despite making for more spell damage, doesn't actually compete with the damage output of a polearm. Like I've found the quickest way to kill anything i actually just to sit there and wack them while healing every now and then. The problem is, I was unaware that there was no endgame content, and no dungeons. See if there were, there would be a reason to heal. Instead all that GAMELOFT are going to add is arena, which military monk will star in (IMO). Shame, I don't mind going military but 10g is just a little too much. I won't be able to get on for a couple days, anyone know how much gold Moarpewpew and toughie have at lvl40? See if 10 gold isn't much I'll see if I can get a loan.

no, it's too far for me to go there. I just liquidate anything I don't want and do as many quests as I can. I don't even know how I got that much gold :( And if you are lower than lv10, why not just recreate another character then start again.

Crafting only seems good for warriors. The gear you can craft with mages is so bad versus the quests/drops. Lol

Oops, I'm a monk, but we only get to craft cloth too. I think hybrid is pretty doable in this game too, since there are none of those weapon mastery stats that WoW does. Bow + Mage might be really good actually.

WOW. I could have made.....a lot! Ahh well, may as well reroll again as military and ill remember to sell my stuff :) Hopefuly Inch wants to reroll so I can have someone to level up with. If not, Elly could you be bothered getting to say level 8 with me? From there it's kinda easier to solo as your kinda picking off quests you missed but leveling up on my own is boring :(

Quite clever by gameloft btw, putting in a lot of gold sinks. Dying, inventory space, teleporting all the time. Makes you want to spend more for IAP too. Lol

Found a way to get around not having a wireless connection and still able to play. O&C If you have the hotspot feature on your iPhone, enable that, and share it to a laptop, then share the bluetooth/hotspot adapter out through your wireless and boom, your iPhone will be "wirelessly" connected.

Just letting you know hehe :) Yeah it is pretty slow for me sometimes, especially when I play upstairs. It's not really user-friendly either. Should be able to search for item name, and should tell us if there are no items available.

Also, any way to change screen orientation?

Score, just got a lvl 20 blue bow for 1g. The guy wanted 5g but I bargained his @ss. Has 20.5 dmg per sec.

I got the sailor quest done! They were in the tents and no competition :)
Then 5 min later I looted shoulder pads from a mob lol. Will sell those.

Anyway, I have a plan to be able to auction without running back to Greenmont anymore. Gonna lvl my monk up enough to get there and just mail stuff back and forth between him and my other chars. :)

Thats a rare pet, I suggest you sell it as you can probably buy it cheaper later on when the game gets more player base. :)

Honestly, if I loot something cool that I can use for a long time, I'd rather keep it and use it. You can always make more gold. But how often are you gonna loot an awesome pet like that?

Hey my warrior is already lvl 10 and I haven't used any points yet. Can other warriors help me choose Battle or Guardian? Which is better for soloing?

I have the impression, Guardian. They have a massive AoE skill at early levels, and I'm not sure, but I think taking damage increases rage too.

I think battle warrior would be better for solo since they do more damage? Guardian is more like a tank that take in damage while Battle produces damage. I'll have to check the tree to see what's in it but base on the name that is what I think.

I would think so too, since they definitely kill faster, but i was in a group with a battle 2h warrior earlier and he could barely survive 2 consecutive mobs. My military monk was lasting longer even without heal. Even as a guardian type, you don't have the problem of mana anyway since you constantly build up rage. You can easily group up mobs too, just rely on skill damage.

My battle warrior doesn't have a problem surviving. I had plenty of AOE to dispatch groups and the that one shout that gives you hp.

My problem with my low level warrior is he never has enough morale to use skills. Kinda frustrating. My archer never has that problem. But I do like that I can sometimes auto-farm with my warrior. Ie, I just stood near a low lvl goblin spawn point that I needed for a quest, and they just attacked. I could be afk and still kill them lol.

I'd even try a 1h shield battle type :p but yeah, I won't deny warriors are so good. Oh, and I suggest all warriors at least get level 1 charge. It's the first skill on guardian tree, but so useful.

You like warrior or monk? I have a lvl 21 monk and lvl 5 warrior. I like the monk so far. Haven't play warrior much.

I found the armor provided by a shield doesn't quite stack up to having a weapon in each hand. There is a skill you can pump to increase the damage of your offhand (Off hand Expert), and another skill that gives you more morale based on the damage you do(Warpath). I found both of these with beef up your damage output and morale so you have plenty for quickstrike, sonic slash, lacerate, and the mighty pounding glow. Offensive shout and courage are very useful as well for dmg buffs and heal.

My shield has over 300 armor, but it doesn't seem to defend me against attacks anymore than not having it, not too sure if that is permanent armor, or just when blocking. Pounding Glow is real beast. Try investing in Warpath to get more Morale as you attack.

About auto-attack, no, you don't need it on the wheel. I have quick or sonic-strike as my "auto-attack" to initiate my first contact. It's nice to have your auto-attack on bow available though to aggro and have enemies come to you.
